Iris Kim is a Los Angeles–based director originally from small-town Canada. Growing up in quiet suburbia, she developed her eye through glossy magazines and films, imagining the elaborate lives of people far beyond her surroundings. Her work is sharp, colorful, and show-stopping, while remaining sensitive and observant. Often exploring nostalgia and familiar people and places—whether real or imagined—her projects blend style, humor, and evocative editorial moments. She has collaborated with artists including Troye Sivan, Madison Beer, and Helen Mirren, as well as brands such as MAC Cosmetics, L’Oréal Paris, adidas, and Nike. Her work has been recognized with the Prism Prize Lipsett Award and a Telly Award.
